This portfolio provides a glimpse of the communications and public relations programs my team developed as we integrated six companies into one unified brand. While the name was well known in Japan, it was relatively new to the North American market. Initial focus was concentrated on building brand visibility and general awareness of what NTT DATA does in the professional and IT services industry.
➢ Built global communications program, driving employee engagement and brand awareness up approximately 50% year-over-year.
➢ Led multiple acquisition and integration communication initiatives, including integration of six group companies simultaneously during corporate brand unification and launch to the market.
➢ Developed and oversaw multiple executive, subject matter expert, and solution campaigns and messaging platforms in core portfolio, including launch of solution areas in Cloud, mobile, gamification, big data, and modernization.
➢ Designed global social media program resulting in dramatic acceleration of followers in first few years, and ongoing engagement increasing as much as 150% organic reach per campaign.
➢ Created external awards and recognition program aimed at driving visibility to core innovation programs. Winning examples include: InformationWeek 500, Computerworld Honors, Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders, Oracle Specialized Partner of the Year, and Canada’s Top Employers.
➢ Developed communications program for the company’s major investment with Chip Ganassi Racing during its ongoing IndyCar Series sponsorship program and technology partnership.
➢ Developed and directed corporate philanthropic programs, including the launch of an annual Global Volunteer Week, achieving Japan’s prestigious CSR Award. Also managed ongoing partnership with national non-profit organization, Peace First, which exists to create the first generation of peacemakers.
My most recent experience was as a core leader in the Marketing organization of NTT DATA, Inc. where I had oversight of all internal and external communications programs for this $1.5 billion IT services firm with more than 20,000 professionals. I provided significant subject matter expertise and influence to the $16 billion, 75,000 person, global parent organization in Japan, and $130 billion, Fortune 500 Group Company. In addition, I managed a dispersed team and agency relationships across North America, India, and Asia Pacific regions.
